it is not about the driving range, but about the 100% full charge, which on the display show me then only ~24 miles which should be more in the range of ~36 miles. (BTW: I do drive almost no highway, this morning i drove my kids to school, electric only, and the distance was about 1.1miles (1.8km), and the car went from 23.6 miles (~38km) to 21.7 miles (~35km) on screen)What type of driving was it? I get 30 miles minimum but that’s with no highway driving as that eats up range as there is no opportunity to use regeneration.
I get the quoted ev mileage on mine mix of 20mph to 60mph on journeys some times I can push two miles over the quoted 37 and get 39 I have the 200bhp version ehybrid.Today i charged my Formentor e-Hybrid 245 and after showing 100% full it only give me ~24 miles (38km) for driving electic.
This is far from the ~36 miles (58km) they advertise.
Does anyone has the same or would I have a battery issue?
Displayed range is just an estimation based on previous drive. The only accurate test of electric range is to drive it till empty.Today I had to charge again, car was under the 20%.....only drove 9-10miles (~15km) .....and charging scheme today was again ~24miles (38km).
Temp in NL is at night around the 10 Celsius and during the day 15 Celcius.
I'm driving very small distances, twice a day 0.6-1.2 miles (1-2km).....cannot be that my battery is already empty after 5 days.
No one else have this so far what i could read....
Got more and more the feeling this is not correct....
I already sent an email to SEAT/Cupra about this awaiting their response.
So a bit like the range left display on ICE models; it analyses the past 30 miles or so of driving and predicts the range left based on that.Displayed range is just an estimation based on previous drive. The only accurate test of electric range is to drive it till empty.
Yes, exactly like that.So a bit like the range left display on ICE models; it analyses the past 30 miles or so of driving and predicts the range left based on that.
Hi, I have never charged to 36 miles, it us usually 27-30 miles, but now in winter its more likely under 30.Today i charged my Formentor e-Hybrid 245 and after showing 100% full it only give me ~24 miles (38km) for driving electic.

Mate, you have posted the same question in three different threads.Hi, I am from Croatia so sorry for my english.
I have canceled my order for a 2.0 TSI 245 DSG and decided to buy a 1.4 e-hybrid 245. The plan is to drive mostly on electricity. But after this article, I'm interested in how much you can drive on electricity. Can you share your experiences.

Cupra Formentor E-Hybrid review: Defiantly sporty at the end of the PHEV road
Visually the Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid is something of a tour de force, it is defiantly sporty without lapsing anywhere near ugliness; the interior too is exceptionally visually appealing with plenty of premium feel touch points and a décor layout which is smart, modern and unique.www.irishexaminer.com
The thing is,it's extremely cold at the moment and that's what you are going to get, especially if you don't pre warm the car in the morning whilst plugged in.Is there a way to reset the range it is displaying and effectively forget the previous 30 or so miles and how it was calculated, im lucky if mine says 22-24 at the mo, so its pretty disappointing however, I do appreciate it if its based on other factors aswell - however, I really dont hammer the car at all so its kinda frustrating that after a full charge thats all it says is possible
They advertise 36 miles on a charge, but one wonders if they determined that on a flat test track or in a laboratory. As I have never ever achieved it in the 6-months I've had my Seat Leon eI-Hybrid. When I charge it only occasionally got to '30' miles range, however on day to day driving going up even a modest hill would see the battery drop like a stone. I live 6.5 miles away from work, so a 12-13 mile round journey. In the summer with careful driving I can do this twice (if I'm lucky), however in the winter - it charges less 23-28 miles and if I get to work and back on a charge ten that is about it.Today i charged my Formentor e-Hybrid 245 and after showing 100% full it only give me ~24 miles (38km) for driving electic.
