Replaced my driverside one today. Now when one folds out the other folds in. Is there a way to reset them? I turned the knob to 6 o'clock and disconnected negative on battery for 15 mins but it is still doing it. Any ideas so I can put my door back together before it rains or gets dark.

Set them to folded in and manually move the mirror that's left out? Mines been sticking a lot. So in car parks I've just been folding the passenger in by hand.

I did that but it still does it and doesn't line up with the base properly as inside must be at the closed setting. Tried disconnecting the plus aswell but same thing so need to reset them but unsure how

Can you disconnect the mirror motor on the driver's side, use the dial to move the passenger one to the same position then reconnect the drivers side? Not sure what the reset procedure is.

No unless both connected passenger won't move. I'm at a loss really. Tried everything I can think of including that.

I have taken a video but it is too large to add to thread. Need to get this sorted as have mot on 23rd

As long as both mirrors are facing out then it wont effect the mot. You can fold it out by hand I take it???

With me putting both out manually i can't adjust them though as it thinks the drivers is folded in. With the passenger one out and the drivers one folded I can adjust them both as it must think the drivers is out. As far as I know that's tested on mot.

Never had my wing mirrors adjusted or checked on any mot I have ever had. Obviously if the wing mirror was missing or the glass was damaged then that may be a different issue.

Guessing it would be in inoperable part if the glass will not move

Did you ever get yours sorted i have the same problem with mine
I took it to seat. They had it two days and had no idea but did something to get it working again, don't think they ever figured out what was actually wrong. I do know they worked on it for 2 days and only charged me 2 hours labour as for most of the time they had it they couldn't identify the problem or fix it. Have no idea what they did, don't think they did either but know that they stripped everything down, checked wiring, flashed ecu and everything but didn't work and eventually somehow it worked but I know that I bought a new drivers door lock module and mirror to try and replace everything I thought might be the issue. Seat even said when my wife picked it up they don't know what happened and had never seen the problem before. Mine is not perfect still as the drivers heated mirror does not work but I darent touch it now. I think mine was caused by someone in work car park knocking mirror. No cameras so don't know if they knocked it and left it or knocked it and tried to fix it, either way they f it up. Sorry I can't be more help as I know exactly how frustrating this issue is.
