Ibiza 1.4 16v airbag light after heater resistor swap

Hello, getting the airbag light and two codes after changing the heater resistor, 00588 and 01228, airbag switch was unplugged for the resistor swap. Has anyone fixed the issue after getting these codes? Thinking switch or loom as the codes point to the passenger side, hopefully just switch.

Hi Grant, what vagcom device did you use as I have the same issue. Disconnected the airbag on / off switch when I removed the glove box to get at the blower resistor?
