How can I get a full link for my 2019 model Seat Ateca car for free?

I would be very grateful if you could help me. I searched the forum, but I could not find it exactly or I did not understand how to do it I would be very grateful if you could explain it to me step by step in an easy way, thank you in advance.

Going to be a FeC. Function enablement codes. Whilst the mib2 high tool box has a level of experience on here the mib2 standard one hasn't. They are Github projects. The catch is if it's the same as the mib2 high a module has to be written for the specific firmware. If its been written you are fine if not you have to write it yourself or get a kind soul to do it for you. You have the possibility of screwing up the unit if you don't get it right.

These tools go into the unit on the green menu and they give you retrofitter access to the unit. A traditional retrofitter takes the unit out of the car and plugs it into a work bench via a laptop. The toolkits which are public domain do it in situ. I've no experience with the mib2 standard but I do of the mib2 high. You need someone who has used the mib2 standard one to assist. I have not come across anyone on this board with the mib2 standard experience. Skoda boards on Skoda yes. So you might be floored with the module not being written (ifs-route). Btw I take it mib2 by date.

As said I believe the standard one is like the high one so you can't assume it works with all firmware.

No if it's a mib2 standard that's the one that takes the map cards. If it was a mib2 high (Seat "Plus") that would be different.

Anybody ? Or you pay the boards retrofitter to do it remotely if a mib2 standard. That's what I advised somebody the other day. Mib2 standard which I think you have, you use the mib2 toolkit as I posted up above but there is little experience of it here. Mib2 high (Seat Plus) you either use the mib2 high toolkit link above or install 1447AIO. Either of the mib2 high solutions unlocks full link. If your unit uses a map card then it's a mib2 standard. Other tell tail signs is to hit the media button, repeat. If it shows Jukebox then it's a mib2 high. Suspect not. They were optional extra so people didn't pay for them. There were Atecas sold with baseline infotainment systems. No navigation at all.

I don't have navigation in my vehicle, but I think I don't know if mib2 is available. My only goal is to make a full link. I want to do it myself. I don't want to buy it. Do you know a forum that explains how I can do it? I need a full link very much right now. That's why I'm trying to do it. If it's something you know a little bit about, I won't do it step by step. You might check whether you have the third unit down then which has an option for full link. If its one of the two above I doubt it's got the programming power, memory, operating system etc to do it.

You can actually kill your unit if you incorrectly load up modded software or jump mib2 standard trains. That media system plus unit may have a weird train I've seen or it could be the two above.

@East Yorkshire Retrofits may give you pointers but they are in the business to make a profit. The other place to ask the question is on the Leon 3 part of the board or look for an answer. The volumes of sales of Leon 3s were higher than Atecas and more modding going on subsequently. If yours is one of the two first units you are out of luck, you would be on a bigger retrofit. If its a mib2 standard, forth then you are risking bricking the unit if you get it wrong. Those units were common to Seat cars at the time.

You either need to buy an activation document and have a specialist such as ourselves or your local dealer activate it. We can't do this for you as we need the car here.

& it's the latter that feels dangerous for someone to do it as DIY. The hacking of the mib2 high became software based after the POI exploit to get the code into the device which was normally done on a retrofitters bench and laptop prior. Mib2 standard is much more shakey and by the time you get to the unit in question not DIY I reckon. Probably some Russian or Polish text on the net somewhere which describes the procedure. You have to weigh up the cost of killing the unit via DIY than giving it to an expert to do. Killed units by people on this board have been in the past sent to our friends in East Yorkshire to recover. That's where they try to change mib2 standard trains themselves and get into a boot loop.... since you can't do that yourself.

The password to get into these units via a laptop got cracked... but what you do next I pass. You would need an Ethernet to usb adaptor. That's how the procedure works. A program etc. It was the domain of Russian / Polish retrofitters. They sold their programs onto each other or swapped them.

DIY methods using toolkits put these programs into the green menu using the POI exploit. Hobbyists did that. Giving the programs away but you are snookered since your unit doesn't have navigation on it so the POI exploit can't be used. Ditto with modified firmware which uses the POI exploit. No POI import capability no way of getting programs into the unit without the retrofitters conventional way of doing it on a work bench, a usb / Ethernet adaptor and a program to get into it that way. You might find something online. That's all old school stuff now. Digital Elite board in German would be the place to look.

There's no password when connected to the EMMC, and there's no need for a USB to ethernet adapter. It isn't activated via POI either
