Boot Light Won’t Turn Off

Theres a switch by the latch. Probably stuck or not being activated when boot is closed.
So in other words replacing the latch should be fine?

I thought it was built into the surround, but looking at the latch, it seems the switch is built in. So yes, in all likelyhood replacing it will probably solve the issue.
