Soooooo I’ve just got back from the auto electrician and am pleased to say it’s sorted. Turned out I didn’t need to replace the fuse, relay or clock spring as it turned out to be a break in a wire behind the relay. Obviously not something I could’ve spotted with my
diagnostic tool as theirs was a propa in depth one. Basically where you remove the cover to access your
OBD port the relays sit in there and it’s a wire that feeds to/from the relay that had a break in it. He bypassed that wire and all good. I’m now road legal again ?. MOT booked for the 15th so all good. Appreciate all the replies to this thread, you’re a top bunch ??
