Faulty Throttle Body

Hi all, new to the forum, but I've had my Leon estate vz2 since Feb and only done 1k miles. Recently I've experienced high idling, and the car is unwilling to go above 30mph and sits at 2.4rpm.
There is no fault codes on dash, but my friend who has a professional ECU reader found a fault code for the throttle body, I booked it in with Cupra Liverpool who made me wait six weeks, only to tell me after having the car for a week, that they can't find anything. My car is under warranty until 2027. I am at my wits end with them. I don't want to take the car back until they've done SOMETHING, but they are a joke, even Cupra UK are not happy with them, because they won't respond to Cupra UK's emails or phone calls. What should I do.

Hello
No the car is mine, paid for outright in February. The car is a 24 plate, only 8k miles on, what can I force Cupra to do, they just don't want to do anything whatsoever

They haven't logged an issue with the throttle, the last entry on the history is an investigation into a gear selection fault.

Has the vehicle got a ghost immobiliser fitted?

I think it's the throttle position sensor
I did have a ghost fitted yeah, however I've had it disconnected to see if there was a link, the issue still persists, so it can't be the ghost?

The sensors are all intergrated within the throttle unit itself. If there's a code stored then the issue can be investigated and confirmed with relative ease. Check live data, confirm the wiring is OK, then it can only realistically be the throttle unit itself.

If my mechanic friend cleared the fault code, (the picture I attached) why can't they find it, they've road tested the car twice now, once with me driving it with the head technician, I firmly believe they just don't want to fix it

If your friend cleared the code and it wasn't present when they scanned it using the brand's diagnostic equipment then there is no electronic evidence of the fault. That code populates a test plan that can be used to confirm that the part is defective. Without that evidence it can be difficult to move forward with a repair.

Yeah understandable, but they've supposedly test drive it, I've driven the head technician in it who confirmed he could see a problem, I don't know what else I can do, why can't they just replace the throttle body under warranty

They probably know what the cause is, but without the result of the manufacturer's guided test plan from their diagnostic machine they can process a warranty claim.

How often did the code show before it was erased?

That's the weird thing a fault code never showed in the car, just the symptoms and like a limp mode but no actual code

James, shall I try and do a Regen?
They reckon the battery is at 55 per cent due to the dashcams, again anything to avoid doing something there end
