Well, after getting a front parking parking sensor renewed earlier this year, it now appears yet another has failed, yet to be determined (will book in when I can be bothered🙄) it follows a particularly wet drive back up North from darkest Kent, car was fine up until the very wet driving conditions then, as we drove through some heavy sleet, all the usual alarms were going off (Driving aids and such like) then settled, but then an hour or so later (and ever since) I get the old 'clean front sensors' alarm🙄 so suspect water ingress somewhere😖

What's more annoying is the fact they seem so susceptible to damage, I would argue they're not fit for purpose, bloody annoying, whilst on the subject however, does anyone know if you can buy these sensors ready painted or colour coded?

This is handy to know, what price would we be looking at possibly, as I say I've yet to get it diagnosed (hell it could be more than one, knowing my luck) car is in 'Mag-Tech Grey'
What does the PDC display on the MIB screen show when you select reverse?

Not sure if it’s suggesting the back now, or does the small white indicator on the front left of the diagram suggest that sensor?
I’ll know for sure I guess after the diagnostic…when I can be a***d🙄🤷🏻‍♂️

That sensor is damaged, it's black and shouldn't need painting.

N/S/F centre.

Easy to swap without bumper removal.

The rear sensors are operating correctly, the problem is with the front
Ahh ok, that would make sense tbh as we were driving into heavy rain/sleet so they’d be taking the brunt of the bad weather (motorway driving as well) pretty sure it’ll be water ingress that’s likely done the damage

nice one, I shall have a perusal as soon as is practical

Have a look in the daylight and you'll usually see some clear damage on them.
