Ah interesting - thanks for that.
Does anyone know if there is a TPI to reference to advise the dealer how to get the update? For VW GTEs back in the summer it was TPI 2077016 PV4KD, but SEAT may have totally different numbering systems.

VWs took 2 to 7 days to update, so I would be interested to hear of any SEAT ehybrid (24-25) owners who managed to get this update, and how long it took.

Thanks

There are various TPIs that lead to the requirement of the update. Symptoms such as flickering ambient lighting or a discharged 12v battery after charging the HV battery to name a couple.

I don't suppose you know if the update fixes other issues which I and others have mentioned on this thread?:
  • missing functionality to schedule a charge time (it's in the manual but not in the actual infotainment)
  • slow charging speeds - 4.5kW max AC charging from wall box and public chargers when the hardware should be capable of more (and our Golf colleague is getting 7kW from a car with ostensibly the same hardware). Also DC charging seems slower than the figure promised in the brochure - I think it said 50kW but I seem to get 30.

I'm not fully aware of all the particulars of what the update rectifies but it's highly likely to rectify the majority of complaints.

We have had an update applied to our Seat Leon and now scheduled charging is available and works. The Update ref: is 90Z1 and took the dealer two days to apply.

Mine is booked in for next month.
Have you noticed any improvement in charging speed? Mine charges a fair bit slower than the speed advertised in the brochure.

Had mine done about 2 weeks ago. Charging schedules are there although I continue to rely on Octopus to control.
Has cleared most of the defects although still occasionally get a warning about the rear tailight not working. Flickering lights in the cabin all good. Digital dash looks slightly different from memory.

Only charged it once since the update takes 1 hour for 10% of charge with a a type 2 charger. So 50% takes 5 hours. I do not have a fast charger just top it from 13 amp socket on cheap rate at 8.6p / kwh. Charges at 2 kwh so 50% costs under £1.00.

May I ask what defects you had before the update?

Had mine updated last week, took 2 days at dealer. (1.5 really).

Schedule in place only charged twice since update, but does hold the red light off and was fully charged each morning. Haven’t had any drained 12v again (yet).
I’ve just set it to a schedule during the octopus off peak hours but this morning I plugged it in and selected charge now from screen and did a load of washing. Whilst octopus are offering the chance. So it’s fairly simple to override.

Warning: update wipes everything so you need both keys to do the primary user thing again. Plus sign into app provide ID for remote unlocking etc.
my spare key is kept at our man office so was a bit of a faff but sorted now.

Thanks for the warning. I've never had a car before which is complex enough to need a software update so I wouldn't have thought about needing both keys if I hadn't read it on here...

My update did NOT wipe my data (seat settings, AndroidAuto, Bluetooth etc)?
