Hi all!
Just found this forum from a youtube short video after spending hours of searching for reviews.

My name is Glenn, living in West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, 40 years old, CNC milling programmer & volunteer firefighter.
I'm getting a Cupra Leon VZ 300 on Friday, imported from Germany. 6 months old with 10700km on the clock in Graphene Grey.
Looking forward to drive the car and learn some stuff about this model.

I do have some questions already.
Does anyone know what fuse location I can use to put a tapfuse adapter in for my dashcam? I need a fuse which is only on when ignition is on.
What VZ version is my car? Afaik the only 2 options I don't have are the big brake kit and bucket seats with the carbon fiber shell. I thought the VZ3 had the optional bucket seats, which I don't have or is the vz3 equipment country dependent?

Welcome dear Belgian friend !
From Brussels here, also new Leon VZ. And imported too, thanks our expensive country 😂

I'll give you an update soon for the dashcam, I don't remember where I plugged mine

For the equipment it's indeed country dependent, but as far as I know, Germany is similar to Belgium and you have to choose those option individually, except for VZ Extreme

And nice i30N, my cousin have the same, had the luck to try it on a trackday

Enjoy your new Leon !!

Can’t help you with your questions, but your choice of cars over the years is impressive.

Welcome to the community! Yes countries vary on spec, worth checking the official website for the brochures. It's got UK VZ3 wheels (albeit not copper) and without the brakes and buckets it's more like a VZ2.

Glad you found us on YouTube, we're really putting effort into growing our channel so glad it got you here. Happy to have you on board.

Cheers,

Scott

Hi all,
I collected the car today in Germany and drove it home (570km).
Man, what a car! Absolutely enjoyed the ride home. Just need to do some paperwork and technical inspection to put it on Belgian numberplates and we're good to go, should only take a couple of days.

I checked for the dashcam, I used the fuse n°30 (Radio) and 66 (rear window wiper)

I use parking mode, I think fuse on radio is for that one

Yes lovely car, and driving that distance home must have helped getting used to the new experience, enjoy.

Yes it was a fantastic drive home except for the traffic jams on friday evening near Brussels, but perfect timing to test the traffic assist which worked great.

Thx for checking! So the fuse for rear window wiper should work for me (not using parking mode)?

I always liked the side badges of a GTI and planning on switching to black chrome badges on the rear in stead of the default chrome ones.
I might order 2 extra VZ badges to put on the side like in this picture below, what do you guys think, yay or nay?

Sorry I missed your message :/ If you have not found yet, the best is indeed rear window wiper

So I'm looking for a second set of wheels for summer next year and use the original wheels for winter.
I probably gonna go for the Motec Ultralight MCR2 wheels in 19x8.5J in black or matt black, but now I saw these wheels in matt bronze and damn this looks good also. What do you guys think?

A great choice of wheel style I think - personally I'd go for the copper/bronze option. When wheels are completely black they can lose some of their visual detail, which you can notice when you compare the two photos you've attached.

A similar style here from JR - I'm tempted to get these for summer use.

I do like the bronze ones too but I'm afraid I'll get tired of this color too quick and I'm not looking for a "car tuning" look either, which this color tend to have.
Choices...

Looks good.

I'm surprised that there's enough of a flat area to stick it to as the wing profile is quite curved there.
