Hello friends
I recently updated my MIB1 to a Harman MIB2High
My car is a 2014 5F FR SC equipped with Seat Sound, not the Beats version
Now with the MIB2 High I have the ST image in the car menu and when the parking sensors are active
My question is this: I have the impression that with my old MIB1 unit I was getting better sound quality, in this MIB2 the Subwoofer menu is active and functional, but I read several posts that indicate that the sound file in the MIB has to correspond to the car model because the DSP has several files for each ST SC version etc....
I would like to know if this really makes a difference or if it's just my impression.

Unit requires correct parameterisation & coding. Configuration is vehicle specific dependent on specification
Everything is working, including the subwoofer option, but I have the impression that the sound is different.
I think it must be because it's configured as if it were a ST and in reality it's a SC.
How could I make this change? Is it possible to do it through the green M.I.B. menu?

Update
Through the green menu (M.I.B._More-Incredible-Bash)

I managed to change the ST settings to SC and now I have everything configured for SC, which is my model.
I have the Seat Sound menu working correctly. My question is: is it necessary to inject any file with sound settings for the SC version, or is everything correct?

I will leave images below of the information I found.

Here you can already see that it has been configured for SC.

^ parameterisation includes sound information

Multiple variations for sound, different between door 5 door & ST.
Does this mean that each body version has its own parameterization? It's not just parameters for the equipment the car has, but also for the body itself?

If that's the case, I must have the parameters for the ST version. How would I be able to load the file for the SC version?

I would appreciate some help, thank you.

My unit is a Harman (5F0 035 020 J) and my car is a 2014 coupe version equipped with factory Seat Sound.
This Harman unit came from an ST version equipped with Seat Sound.

Is it only possible to change the parameters with ODIS or VCP? I am from Portugal and unfortunately in this country it is not easy to find someone professional in the area.

Odis and VCP Possible. You need Dataset
I have a fully functional unit including the entire Seat Sound system.
Is it necessary to make this change?
Because in Portugal it's difficult to find someone who has this equipment.
Are the sound differences really noticeable? Everything seems to be working normally on my unit, all the car speakers work normally.

What is really necessary? If you're satisfied, why change anything?
Since the MIB was taken from an ST version and encoded for my SC version, I don't know if the audio file was properly encoded.
Everything is fine, but I just wanted to be 100% sure that I'm taking advantage of all the audio quality.

Let's be honest, even if you have the SC data set, the sound is far from good.

I'm checking to see if I have an SC record on my server.

If the difference wasn't noticeable, VWAG wouldn't bother making a separate file for each body shape

Hi friend, it seems I found someone in Portugal who has VCP but he doesn't have access to the database, so I need the correct file for my body and unit. Can you help me? Thank you.

VCP crypts the file using the adapter's license. So if I send you the file, he won't be able to use it. I can try converting it to ODIS.
