Hello everyone, four months ago I bought a 2021 Seat Leon Sportstourer. The infotainment system still runs 1803 software. A month ago, the car attempted to download and install a MOI3_EU_SE_R9890L OTA update. The file size is 5620 MB, and after downloading exactly 5114 MB (which takes several hours), the download freezes, and the system says it failed to update. This has happened four times so far. I tried to connect the car to Wi-Fi, but it seems the download continues via eSIM anyway. Has anyone faced such an issue? Is it a problem with the car, or is it something on the Seat servers? Can I do anything to get this OTA update, or can I only install it manually from a USB stick?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem and I'm locked in MOI3_EU_SE_R8040L while my car tried 4 or 5 times to download the MOI3_EU_SE_49890L ... Did you find a solution ?
Hi, no, I haven't found a solution yet. I did a factory reset and hope the car will make another download attempt. Last time, three months passed between the factory reset and the first download attempt. I'll wait for a while. If it doesn't work, I'll probably try to update it myself.

No, since their warranty is expired, I don't believe they can offer anything besides a visit to an official dealer for overpriced "diagnostics". But I'd be happy to be mistaken, and it's actually worth noting to reach out to them. Did you try doing this? Please let me know if they respond with anything meaningful.

I'm doing this, writing to [email protected] / calling the 0080040002020 and explaining the situation. My car is not under warranty because I bought une 2nd hand, but I have a specific warranty for 2nd hand products (but I think it doesn't cover any software problem).

I just received a first answer from Seat :

I just answered to them that there is no way to pay 150€ to force an update... I invited them to give me the file to let me doing it by USB :ROFLMAO:
