Hi Guys,

Im having issues connecting my phone to Android Auto in my 2021 Seat Leon FR. I just got the car on Monday, and I had it out with the dealership today, and they couldn't find anything wrong.

I have a OnePlus 13, and it keeps asking me to change the USB settings. I've tried that and multiple fixes from a phone perspective. Developer mode for both the USB and Android Auto app. Multiple cables etc., from the car, it's fully upto date according to the dealership. Reset the entertainment system cache and did a factory restore from the settings.

Ive tried multiple phones and it works with Google, Iphone and Samsung but not OnePlus, Redmi and Nothing.

Anyone come across anything similar? I had no issues with my previous leon

If you do a Google search like this:

"OnePlus 13" Android Auto

Then you'll discover that you are not alone - it is a phone software issue rather than your car.

I've spent hours and multiple phones but its a 50/50 if it'll work. i think its combination of both. Ive ordered a dongle for wireless so i'm hoping that'll fix it for me

I am on Poco (Xiaomi), keep the Android Auto App version at 16.9.662034. Generally working fine with my 2025 MIB3.

Google Gemini keeps telling me NOT to upgrade the App to 17.0

I ended up getting an AA dongle from AAWireless. I still get the message to change the USB configuration, but Android Auto works now, thankfully
