If the standard VZ wasn't aggressive enough 😜 I like it though, this would be like some "R-Type" kind of styling. I read Cupra actually wanted a more powerful AWD version of MEB+ but VW didn't think it was "reasonable" I suppose, who knows in a few years though haha. This would be a good reference design for an even more sportier version though. 😊

While I'm not from UK I can't bother to open a new thread regarding similar topic, at least my car seems to be roughly on schedule, possibly 1-2 weeks delayed only, it was currently in Belgium according to my dealer so it's on the way to Finland, according to him mid-November seems likely for the hand-over (says est. 17.11 in their app). This was a custom order though for the basic VZ made in beginning of June so I knew the expected production schedule would be pushed later as they have prioritized launch editions up until September at the very least and in September custom orders started being processed.

My lease car (spec below) was ordered in July through Select Car leasing and was due for delivery Nov/Dec and I have just been told it has been built and is waiting to be shipped to the UK., so no delay there thankfully.

Ah well they can't all be delayed unless the system is producing rubbish. The fall back is to get the order number from the dealer when feeling stressed and phone up customer services at Cupra if it like Seat, then they might go through some security questions and then get the guy to look it up on their system.

10 years ago not all dealers knew how to use the system or just one guy in the dealership knew. If you get fobbed off you ask for the official customer code, not the dealer one and bobs your uncle. Think its like or was like, one of those airline systems hitting codes. They get a status code back which then maps to the position.

You arent going to make it any faster by phoning up but it puts your mind to rest.

Aunty Google AI says after scraping the net and putting words to it which might be rubbish:

Cupra vehicle factory order and production status codes follow the Volkswagen Group (VAG) tracking system.

Order & Factory Status Codes

00 / 03 / 05: Factory order created or locked, but no build week has been scheduled yet.

10: Factory order acknowledged with a provisional or confirmed production week.

20: Production week confirmed; the vehicle is locked in the system and scheduled for assembly (VIN is typically assigned around this stage).

30: Vehicle has finished production and is built, or is currently in transit from the factory.

36: Vehicle has arrived at the port of exit, awaiting export release.

38: Vehicle is released and loaded onto a ship or transport.

40: Vehicle has left the factory/port area and is in transit or arriving at the destination country port (such as the UK).

50 and higher: Vehicle has cleared customs, is dispatched, and is arriving at or has arrived at the local dealership.
Hi,

I was hoping you could help me clarify something about the order status codes you posted.

I’m in Greece and have a CUPRA Raval order showing ZS12 – Frame reservation under Order Status and PROD under Vehicle Location and Importer frame number ending in 622890 on the importer’s order card.

Do you know what these exact codes mean in the SEAT/CUPRA dealer or importer system? In particular, does ZS12 indicate that a specific vehicle has been allocated but not necessarily built, and does PROD refer to its actual production stage or simply an internal system location?

I’d be especially grateful if you have any insights from your experience with the order system.

Many thanks!

Reckon thats one for @James_R . Normally we dont see these codes as a customer. They are like those airline booking systems of old, code driven. The customer emails you get these days are driven by those codes whilst the dealer gets to see those codes listed from the manufacturing / order processing system.

Thanks for explaining that. That’s exactly what I’m trying to understand.

@James_R would you happen to know what ZS12 – Frame reservation means in the dealer/manufacturing order system, and what PROD means when shown under Vehicle Location?

In particular, I’m trying to establish whether these codes indicate that the car has physically entered production, or whether they can appear before assembly has actually started.

Thanks for your help!

Brilliant new, make sure you get some pics up on here don't think we any VZ's only VZ Extreme to add to the Raval Rogues gallary!
Whilst we are on the subject of 6.0.1 or whatever have those Google "hybrid" like images arrived to the maps like the Peaq. Images I shared privately before. If they haven't then their must be another variant of the infotainment unit software that gets them unless its regional. These pictures I captured off a youtube video of the car being driven in Germany. Something to lookout for. Maybe a new menu toggle. Peaq is suppose to be appearing in Skoda dealerships in November. Effectively a Tarraco, AllSpace, Kodiak sized car in EV form.

In simple no they have not, I think 6.0.1 just targeted bugs or the bugs caused by other bugs. Maybe the big update in December has this included?

Bit more reading I think the hybrid map view is driven by live data over the air so won't be in the cars memory but the standards maps are, so it seamlessly switches back to the in car data when it looses connection.

The term visualisation is used widely. Why vw.os which is what this is on, tightly integrates the car to the mapping system which isnt Google or Apple. It will peeve the Google map boys. Predictive braking and all that is feed by the digital mapping system so Vag wasn't going to hand that to Google. You can still drive by your favourite mapping system but the car uses Here Maps Cartography plus may be a bit of Tom Tom data. That Nordic word which I'll edit in. Smörgåsbord.
Vag group dont want you switching out for your EV Cartography since that's in their product. That seamless switching.

So we wait to see the enhanced visualisation screen on Cupra as on the Peaq.

Scott- I see what you mean about the Cupra voice activation system in the car, can be quite annoying. All in all very happy with the car!

Nice to see VZ with copper rebel tyres, first I've seen besides old review cars in Plasma and that one UK review with manganese matt green. I have also picked those but with Fiord Blue color. Have you considered removing the aero covers on yours? I sadly won't be able to try the summer tyres until next summer as I told them to apply winter tyres when I go pick it up in 2 weeks or so but I'm seriously considering removing the plastic covers on mine based on some other reviews that had done so (makes the tyre look one size bigger and sportier)

Would be very interested in knowing what kind of consumption figures this setup gets, the VZ with either Copper Rebel or Vandal tyres are rated similar to the V1/V2 with ~14 kWh/100 km compared to the sportier VZ tyre option that has 16.1 kWh/100 km rating.

EDIT: I like that they have made the diffusers dark grey colored as opposed to white colored with V1/V2 white color. It's small details like this that is very difficult to know beforehand how they have decided for the various colors and such and the configurator is worthless for this, hardly visible whatsoever.

Looks great in white 😎; the white paintwork works very well with the black roof and other black contrasting accents. White is very easy to maintain too. I’m not quite sure about the colour of the aero trims on the alloys against the copper accents of the alloys though; as @RPGWiZaRD has suggested, I’d take them off and see how it looks without them.

Cupra fitting light grey carpet mats is a strange move. With the wetter winter months, they’ll soon get quite grubby as it’ll be impossible to not transfer wet dirt from the bottom of footwear onto the mats. I’d swap them out for some durable rubber mats (I keep rubber mats in my car all year round - I quite like the utilitarian look of rubber mats, and they’re so easy to clean too). Not sure if there are any genuine Cupra rubber mats available for the Raval but there are sites on the web that sell them (e.g. Carmats4U; just do a search on ‘Cupra Raval rubber floor mats’. If you do decide to get some, make sure they’re for a RHD car.

I was thinking similar as SRGTD as far as mats goes so I also ordered the all-season rubber mats for the Raval, was thinking maybe swapping for the carpet mats in summer and the rubber ones for winter or maybe I'll just stick to rubber ones all the time as I've never been that big fan of carpet ones, will see.
