Tailgate Formentor

I’ve got a 25 Formentor & I’ve bought a tent that attaches to the back of the car ideally to work well the boot needs to be left open. I’ve tried flicking the catch on the tailgate which turns the boot light off which was my concern for the battery running down but the car still shows as the boot being open so interior lights & the ambient lighting on the car are still on.
Can anyone advise please how I can keep the boot open but everything be off?

Does the interior light deactivation button not have any impact on them?

No I’ve tried that & on the display it’s highlighted red that the boot is open

It should all switch off after around 10 minutes, it’ll wake/reset the countdown again when you open/close a door

It took 2 minutes for the interior lights to switch off then full shut down at 10 minutes.
