Rain/light sensor not working

I recently just bought a rain/light sensor from Ebay (#8U0955559A#) and fitted it to my 2017 Seat leon FR technology 5F with climate control, after coding the sensor using obdeleven adaptations the light sensor appears to be working as I now have CH/LH in auto switch position but the rain sensor live data is still saying that it is not installed/not coded

Can anyone help as this has me bamboozled and annoyed as the auto wipers is why I did this in the first place

They come with a climate control system as default but the rain and light sensors only came with the comfort pack addon which I didn't know till after I bought mine as I presumed what I now know as the humidity sensor behind the rear mirror was the rain sensor

Turns out if you check the live data with the stalk in the off position with obdeleven it reads as not installed/not coded

What coding did you use for this, just in case there is something off with it and what subsystem are you updating.

On my 2017 leon FR the 09 central electronic long coding doesnt work, I enabled the sensor in the adaptation "Assistance light functions" under "Regen_Lichtsensor->LIN_Regen_Licht_Sensor" and then in the multifunction module long coding "byte 7 ticked bit 1" i think for the rain/light sensor. Only thing that hasn't worked unless I am doing it wrong is the window closing on rain detection but no issue for me with the climate system
