Hey all, so I'm attempting to replace the solenoids located in the end of the camshaft.

Attempting

Issue is I've had febi and ina ones and they don't find the thread, plus the fastner hole offset is different (see pics first one is original, second the febi ).

I can only assume I'm going to have to go genuine, which at nearly 100 quid a pop I'd rather not.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

2020 cupra 290

Cheers.

Yea left hand thread, got the originals out and back in fine, I'm sure the offset on the holes for the removal/fitment has something to do with it.

Gonna ring tps on Wednesday and see what they say as they are our vag supplier just didn't wanna spend that much tbh.

Cheers

Hey, nope they sent me the to 2016 version and not from.

So I have 427 0037 10 ffs.

I wouldn't mind but I put all my details including the model year and they still sent the wrong parts.

No wonder this world is going to shat.

Cheers bud saved me a lot of hassle.
