The car looks nice but I would definitely swop those chrome mirror caps for red ones ;)

I did this a couple of weeks ago... epic change in light output. Also got some Mkiv wipers come next week too. :)

Nice thread dude. :)

Thanks mate.

I was surprised how bright it was. Worth the monies.

The wipers are a great upgrade.
I just didn't have any energy left to trim it to size.
Make sure you spray a lot of lubricant on the wiper spindle and let it soak for a bit. I got impatient and had a fight and broke the original wipers.

Oil Catch Can

Been meaning to do this for ages but just been so lazy.

Not a hard job to do but a pain when everything starts breaking.

Didn't start of very well as one of the screws for the manifold cover sheared off.

Problems continued with a broken dipstick tube.

And broken crankcase breather tube.

All the crap came out and plumbed in the catch can.

Simples.

Parts I needed were:
2 metres of 19mm braided hose
1x 8mm bung
1x T-piece
Jubilee clips.

06A 103 213F - Crankcase breather hose
06A 103 663B - Dipstick tube

Got some 10mm hose ordered to replace the U-shape pipe from the right hand side of the manifold.
