Nice car mate!

Would people's advice be too ask the dealer NOT too clean/prep the car?

Thanks

Ever tried getting a job as a car polisher? Not difficult to get into, I used to be one.
Interview went a bit like this;
ever polished a car before
yes
Okay you've got the job

The ethos is to get them out as quickly as possible, the only way you'll get a good job is if you slip a tenner to the boys before they start
I used to get hastle for taking too long over cars by trying to do a good job, it was not appreciated

Yeah the dealer was adamant his guys were good and I have no doubt about that, its just that I can do it myself and would rather not have anyone else touch my stuff (I'm a bit OCD).

I am about to post the thread showing my clean of it today and the whole process ran to about 6hrs. Now no matter how good the chaps are at polishing they are gonna get grief for spending that amount of time on a car !!!!!

A salesman would never admit his guys are shite
Also I would doubt a salesman could tell the difference between a shiney car, a valeted car and a detailed car
If you don't know the difference or can't tell the difference then get some else to do it for you and you'll be more than happy

Car looking nice on DW
You know a bit then;)
I know white is nice but if your so into Detailing why not buy black?

I so nearly bought black! It was my second choice and I have had a black Mk4 Golf and a Black TT.

I intend to do quite a few miles in this one and thought white might be easier to get on with
The downside though is that you never really get depth in the shine that a black car gives you, although I will be trying!!!!

Need to get it side by side with a black one for a good comparison and take some pics, you anywhere near me Junior?? (aaah just looked that will be a bit far!!)
