i just got my windows tinted last week, but have no pics on my pc to upload yet, will sort that out tomorrow and post them in here! I got 20% in the back and 50% on the front windows.. slightly illegal but i've been told that the police tend to let that go so went for it! Looks excellent in my opinion! I also had a sunstrip at the same time to fill the gap between the rear view mirror and the tpo of the windscreen but it looked awful so i took it off asap!

20% and 50% is the amount of light transmission btw! ;) will post pics tomorrow :)

Haha!! I was going to say then! thought you had the fronts darger than the back... Can't wait to see what it looks like!! :)

All the best with modding your Ibiza!

The Police tend to change their priorities, when it comes to hardening on 'illegal' mods, ie window tints one month, bald tyres the next, fog lights on during broad daylight after that...........

Fitting the LCR Splitter really is quite an easy job.
To start, go to your local B&Q/Homebase, and buy a box of self tapping screws.
Ideally get ones that have a short/thick profile.

You cant make (m)any unsightly holes, as you will be securing the Splitter to the front valence, so holes you do make will be under the front, out of sight.

The next thing is lining the Splitter up, so its dead centre, then secure it in place with masking tape, before you start securing it with screws.

Guinness made a useful guide on this, here.....

That looks really gooood!!! Is it 80% at the back and and 50% at the front? Or did you mean its 50% at back and 20% at front? And is it film? It looks great though! Nice one!

Was looking at philster interior of his Ibiza and the Leather trim interior is amazing! I would love to have that done... And for £400 I think thats a bargain! Shame I don't know any specialists around in South Wales... :(

Thanks! Might have the same done to mine... :) I noticed your selling your Cupra is well... Its such a nice car and at a very nice price! ^^

Oh yeah... Finally found a nice garage in Cardiff to touch up some bodywork on my car! :) Guess thats 2 things ticked of my list... Tints and Bodywork touch ups...

Thanks for the help guys :)

Planning on getting a Green Cotton Panel Filter is well for my car... Found the part number ''P504342'' should be getting it soon! Been looking at air filters is well, to improve the sound of my car and maybe help it budge a bit haha!! Been reading the Jetex thread and noticed they are quite popular... Is it recommended I put one of these in a DAB at all or would it be a waste of money? Sorry I'm a noob with all this engine modding buisness and it be nice to know more about my DAB see...

I noticed is well... My throttle response is bad! I press the Accelerator down and it takes like 0.5-1sec for a response on the revs... Is this a common problem?

Thanks!

I put a Pipercross panel filter in my DAB last week and to be honest, I can't tell that much of a difference (and it was £40), but it's only 5 miles to work and 5 miles home, so I haven't had much time to tell a difference yet. Wlll be doing a couple of thousand miles to the Nürburgring & back next week, so I'll report back after that !!

I been looking around on this site and have seen some very nice Ibizas with Tinted Windows and I would really like to have that on my car front and back, but I just don't know what % to have them as...

I been reading threads and notice the front tend to be lighter than the back etc and well was just wondering what kind off % would you recommend me have? I want something which looks nice and stylish, but not looking to much like a boy racer...

Hey there. I have 50% on the front and 35% on the back. This keeps it nice and subtle, looks sleek. I prefered not to have a massive difference between the front and back (too many boy-racers have it blacked out completely), but each to their own. Car looks especially nice in sunny weather with the tints.

Ah that would be great thanks! By the way I noticed on your sig you got a ''Seat Sport Strut Brace'' does this do much at all or would you say its mainly for novelty?

Thanks for the info! :) By any chance you able to upload some nice photos of your tints in action? Would really love to see and get a idea of what they would look like! ^^

Thanks!

Couldnt get the first pic (was taken on a typically cloudy Scottish day) to a decent size but hope it helps show the wee difference between front and back. They've never had any trouble from the law, infact ive had a couple of coppers compliment them!

I don't know yet , I've only just put it on too. The Pipercross filter I put on due to the difficulty in changing it with the strut brace in place (you have to loosen the bolts on one end to get the top of the filter box off)

I do actually like your tints more... Think I've come up with a idea of % I want now! Probably will be getting 45-50% on front and 30-35% on the back...

Ordered my Cotton Green Panel Filter and will be ordering the TT pedals soon... Also going to sort my LCR Splitter out tomorrow if I'm not to busy and if its nice and sunny :)

Think I'm pretty much got my handful on mods so far for a week haha!!

I am thinking of changing the horn to this after reading some threads...

Jeeeez I must say is well... This site is a bad... After reading loads of threads I just want to do loads of stuff!! Haha!!

Cheers for the help and info people!

If you are thinking of lowering your car will that not void part of the warranty?

I agree about the exhaust, same on my 1.4 Sport, huge hole and this piddly little exhaust poking out. Looked into getting a tail pipe cover but can't find one big enough to fit that doesn't scream chav.

I'm also a bit of a car novice, I can drive one but know nothing about maintenance or modding so can you just change the back box on the exhaust to someting more meaty? Will it void any warranty as well as I might consider doing that as its about the only thing lacking right now looks wise.

I went to the Seat Garage and asked first to see if I got full sports exhaust system will it void the warranty and they just told me that if its before the CAT then its fine and will not void the warranty. So I just got a complete full sports stainless steel exhaust CAT back from LongLife for £280. They also said my warranty will not be voided if I don't touch my engine so I suppose coilovers are allowed... If not... Awell... I'm not to bothered...
