suprising formula sport

i just took my formula sport to a cruise west cumbria dyno day and totally suprised with what i got.
The standard fs is 100bhp and with my bmc-cda and a powerflow catback i was expecting 105 may 110

if i was lucky but i ended up with a first run of 130bhp and second of 131.4bhp and127.7 ib-ft of torque :drool:

the standard airbox looks really restrictive so the cold air feed really does work a treat and im jumping foe joy with the new figures

Looking at previous posts it would appear to be a 1.4 petrol

The most powerful 1.4 petrol on SCN by the looks of it..............................

lucky person, you would notice if your 1.4 was 130bhp mind... would own quite a lot of cars. I would get it whacked on another dyno to make sure, but fair play ! probably the best figures from a N/A 1.4 in pritty standard form!

Meet up with another 1.4 owner and have a play! TBH with the mods you have it is a little high, would be expecting 115hp.

The most powerful 1.4 petrol on SCN by the looks of it..............................

For the mk4 ibiza it is but the arosa drivers have got up to 130+hp also albeit with a few more engine mods.

yeh as said, seems awfully high, no-one is trying to put you down but for a 1.4 that is pretty fast, but well played if its rite enuf.

it was at the JDM dyno in kirkbride, der was a few cars which have tested on other dyno's and got the same results there aswell so im guessing that it was an accurate test. its not a derv it a 1.4 petrol and i was guessing that i would make no where near that..so i was jumping round for joywhen i seen the results. as far as having a toy with other cars ive said goodbye to 1.6 astra's and focuses on many of occasions but i dont wanna say to much cause you lot with like 200bhp will abuse me, lol but its a nippy 1.4 tho!

Your ibiza should see of 1.6 astra and focus, im near enough dead on with my mate in his 1.6 focus and I have less power than you.

1.6 astra and focus are around 90-100bhp as standard but weigh more

That's a bit extreme for an air filter! :think:

Fair shout though - I'm not disbuting what you're saying. I know I had mine on the rollers near me and it came out at 158bhp with a remap (admittedly mines a derv) but I then had it re-remapped and it was ALOT more pokey - went on a dyno at GTI international and it came out at 160bhp. It all varies on the rolling road tbh.

2. mixupz= most powerfull 1.2 12v
