I know this may have be asked before but im looking for some feedback on the bluefins on mk2 cupras.
Fancy getting one but don't know if i should just wait and save for a Revo.
Just liked the fact the bluefin seams a bit less aggressive and can be reset back to stock
with ease.

My friend is running a bluefin on Focus ST. A very good map on his.
Good power and progressive. His has been on around 2 years with no problems.

Im in the same boat, i spoke to Bluefin as i was worried about clutch slip but they said any problems they would re write so sounds good. I know AMD are more or less the same price and are near to me but still not made my mind up. Do a search on here for my Bluefin Thread as there were alot of different views

Thanks for the feedback. I was just tempted when I seen JKM are doing them for £365.
When compared with the price of a revo + sps it's £350 cheaper.

That sounds a good price. Think its all down to what you really want to be honest. For me i just want some more get up and go thats not going to wreak the car.

Yeah their good, handset is a real bonus especially with warranty worries. Depending on your year, your ecu might be locked though, but it worked on a 2011 GTI, took a few goes though so don't give up on your first try

I tried bluefin on my cupra r and found initially it went ok although power was a bit peaky with power dying off about 3500rpm and back again at 4500rpm after a couple of revised maps I put the car to standard and it felt so much better.
I sold my bluefin and wouldn't have another.
There was a thread on here and about 4 or 5 people with cupras were having problems with bluefin too.
APR all the way tried the rest now got the best

Not tried any other KO4 remaps bar. Revo's revised stage 1 code which will be released shortly. And it is first class. You get what you pay for. A valuable lesson I have learned through tuning cars ;)

I've heard a few bad things about Bluefin, seems like I've only read good about Revo. I just like the idea of being able to switch back to stock if needed.

Not even sure if either can remap the 140bhp CR engine though :s

I have a Revo switch to change from mapped to stock settings and also valet mode :)
