Hello all, I'm pleased to say I have bought a mk2 seat leon cupra.
Some of you may remember me from the mk1 section and my mk1 lcr big turbo build thread.

my mk1 lcr bt build thread link

I decided to buy a mk2 leon as I wanted something newer and a nicer place for my daughter to sit in (less raw should I say). Also the easy tuning of the 2.0 tfsi was very appealing to me with stage 2 in mind.

Anyway I picked this up yesterday

I bought this from a seat main dealer who sold this originally from new, this has had one owner although it was used a demo car. Full seat service history with 63k on the clock. 12months MOT and 6 months tax. It's also had a new seat service the day I collected it.
This car is 100% stock.

The car is in very good condition, no scratches or dents, interior is like new.
The drive is fantastic, very smooth in every department, power, gear changes, steering.
To sum it up its a very well built car.

Now it was clear when I picked it up but after 200miles of driving in very poor weather its lost its shine so will get some much better photos. The only thing the car could do with is a machine polish, so its good job I have the kit ;)

Thanks for the nice comments guys :)

So as some of you know i was lucky enough to win a milltek exhaust of my choice. This was at a r...tech charity event in there raffle.
So i went for the mk2 lcr non res 3" system. What a work of art it is too.

This arrived very quickly.

So next on the list is a downpipe and lcr rear diffuser, if anyone knows of one being sold then please let me know.
Im toying with the idea of buying the lcr front bumper to, not to be a wanna be but just because its a nicer look, i would never go aftermarket with this kind of thing.
Thoughts ???

Well a little update, looks like i will be keeping my xxr alloys from my mk1 lcr so will fit them to the mk2 :)
Wonder how good they will look

Update time,
I trail fitted my xxr alloys from my mk1 leon and sadly it looks pants. The alloys are too dark and really clash with the car.

So I decided to sell them on and buy a set of these

Moving away from wheels and onto performance.
I have a tfsi snake growing in the living room and the mrs ain't happy

The snake consists of a milltek lcr catback non res and the very latest tfsi downpipe with decat from relentless.

The quality of the downpipe is second to none,

Next up, I have ordered a evolution motorsports induction kit, just waiting for that to arrive, should look similar to this

As my birthday is coming up my partner has bought me a 60mm defi boost gauge and a custom 60mm vent pod.
Gauge looks like this

Should match perfectly.

Also another present bought for me by my grandad is the 42 draft design tfsi catch can kit. In black wrinkle finish and black braided hoses with -AN finishers

That pretty much covers most of it.
I do have a devils own wmi kit given to me by a certain tuner, just needs some nozzles. Look forward to the install, keeping it oem as possible.

Last thing is to get this lcr rear diffuser ordered from sere motors, I hope they can do me a good deal as there not cheap.

Will be busy fitting all the above soon, but might not be a good idea until my cars warranty has finished.

For got to say, I really love the drive of the mk2 leon, rear grip is awesome and really increases confidence in high speed corners. It's a very well balanced car. My only dislikes are the ugly dash and strong initial bite from the brake pedal. Maybe something I get use to.
Future mods are Fmic, lowering springs and apr fuel pump.
Will make the engine bay pretty, but will be a black theme apart from the odd polished cap

Supprised you're not waiting for Bill's intake mate, especially after the sucess of his 3" T.I.P on the mk 1. I find the mk2 cupras look soooo boring in standard guise so im looking forward to what you do with yours.

Good choice with the intake. I've noticed the exhaust narrows down right in the middle, any reason for this??? Also his much was the 3" dp??? I have the 100cell miltek but its gubbed so a bit pointless having it fitted.
