SEAT Leon FR CR170

So after looking quiet abit ive decide on one of these. Leon FR 1P CR170 2.0TDI. After working on these quiet abit and seen how they can go with not alot of work i decided on one. To be honest fed up of messing on and just wanted a nice car out the box' rather do other peoples and find it more enjoying. Now the B6 A4 is sat in the garage collecting dust, Must advertise it or even break it. Found this FR which was a one lady owner' 48K miles. had the usual Cruise control optional 18" orion alloys and so on. Only plans are RNS510 MFD3 Sat nav unit, And one day next week when i get time in between jobs or if i have a quiet day ill take the DPF out do a EGR delete and map it with a hardcutt limiter.

managed to map the leon today' forgot to take pics as i went along as was mega busy. Nice Remap. Removed the ECU as its tricore protected. unlocked it using CMD. this enabled everything to be now done through obd port. put a nice map on it DPF out aswell as the cat from the top of the unit as they seperate on these, and also EGR delete. never had time to fit the blanking plate for egr so ill do it later in the week. and ill order a uprated panel filter tomorow. Its unreal how linear the power is on these. dont realise what speed etc you doing as its that smooth and the way the power delivery comes in.

I have a CR170 that I've had mapped stage 1, thought about changing the air filter... why would you say it's a must? I've seen a lot of threads on here syaing not to bother. Cheers,

It's gonna be less restrictive than the OE paper item, more air more fuel Bigger bang!

was just about to ask the question of is it worth taking the DPF out? I've thought about that too, but from my tuner (Ecotune) It's looking to be about £400, not sure I can justify that! Never had any DPF issues as my commute to work is 35miles each way.
