Just dug out some old info re bonrath. 9011 is rear beam bush only, rrp £93.95, 4 weeks special order if in stock in Germany.

Also Sorry for the delay in responding. 9011 contains only the bushes for the axle. The top mount bushes are a separate kit, part no. 9003, RRP £40.21. If you want the complete top mount kit (not just the bushes), that is part no. 9044, RRP £89.47. There is also a steel reinforced axial insert kit available for the top mounts, part no. 9077, RRP £26.78.

This info is a few months old now.

Just got back from Redline Motorsport in Middlewich Cheshire where I ordered my new brakes from (they are a HiSpec dealer). Over £1000's worth. First went to see them 23rd Sept.....the guy called me yesterday saying they had arrived. So I goes down there in my lunch hour and guess what....there wrong - the bells dont fit on the hubs as the chamfer in the middle isn't deep enough, the brackets that mount the calipers to the uprights are not square and the holes are in the wrong place, and most of the bolts to fasten the whole lot together are wrong thread or too long/short. Oh and there were no pads or hoses.

What the f.uck is going on.

I am totally sick and tired of dealing with motorsport people, in any other line of buisness they would all be sacked.

Feel like chucking the whole lot in and going back to motorbikes.

Annoyed isn't the word.

Rob

Ouch, you'd expect the guy to check that what he was supplying you with was correct when your spending that type of money:no: and at the very least notice things like pads and hoses are missing.....that is shocking.

Have you completed fitting the wider wings now? any further piccys ???

Just as I thought they were getting on top of these goof ups :(

Are they wrong becuase you're useing different uprights to that off a 16v?

They've got all different hubs to refer to on custom stuff, and when they did my custom bells & brackets it all fitted a treat

I'll go & give em slap for you Rob when I come back from Paris at the weekend...

Need brakes before I can get wheels so then I can fit panels.....so no more pics yet I'm afraid, and at this rate next year will come and go before I get it done...

The latest - finally got brakes and now they fit - pretty nice actually with some very serious looking disks from PF. I would post up some pics but my ability to add attachments seems to have disappeared (admins ????)

Only snag when I initially opened brakes up was that the disk STILL wouldn't go on the hub.....brand new 16V hub from german and swedish......in my rage I tried a different hub and it went on perfect - one of BRAND NEW hubs from GSF has not been machined properly - taking it back thursday for a replacement

So next its wheels - was thinking of some custom billet 3 pieces from Image, and website said they had 1/3 off retail till Dec 12th....thats £300 apiece wheels for £200....anyway, checked the other night and the offer has gone....not doing it any more :(

So - earlier in the year I had borrowed an ATS DTC wheel off Eric West (nice bloke Eric) at AAT and it fits perfectly over new brakes so have ordered some from AAT - now the UK's exclusive supplier of ATS motorsport wheels, result at £100 apiece for 15x8's in black, ET20 (6.4kg only). 4 weeks delivery he said. Then its new tyres time....15x8.7 avon slick.... [B)]

ATS DTC Wheel

Slowly slowly progressing

Ave it

Bosh em my way Rob & I'll host em (stuart.brewer @talk21.com - remove space)

I had some drive flanges from gsf for the old 1.4, one was a perfect fit, the other was like a ***** in a bucket.

Glad they turned out ok in the end.

Latest - brakes are fitted, all suspension is on, geometry roughly set (santa is bringing me a digital camber guage so that will be set pukka soon, set stright up and zero toe for now), power steering bled, wheels on and and she started up first time after being sat since mid september.....great sound, forgot what it was like, more noisy than previous as now with ceramic exhaust coating rather than heat wrap as previous and that quietened it a bit - but will get a bit quieter once a bit of carbon gets in there. No apparent leaks....phew.

Looks well phat - fitted some 7.5x16 ET27 MO's on front for now (it is getting 8x15 ET20's when they arrive).....

Pics below (thanks to Badger-5 hosting services  )
