braided

I have MK1 Cupra R Brembo calipers. On one the metal pipe is corroded. I need to get a new one of these pipes or get a custom braided hose that would replace the metal pipe. I was looking at getting custom brake lines made but don't know what fittings I need on each side of the braided hoses.

Hi I recently acquired a full set of front and rear mk5 r32 discs and calipers, does anyone know whether I need the hoses for the r32 or mk5 golf ? I have asked a number of retails but they were unsure, is there anyone who has already done conversion who can shed light on which braided hoses...

hi all. despratly need some advice. i have purchased some goodridge hoses. that are apparently for my car. i own a 51 plate cupra R (which is now currently in bits) but upon fitting them they dont even match up. the originals have a 90 degree elbow on them these are just a straight union. and...

Hi all, I have been thinking of changing the brake set-up on my Cupra 8v. Rather than get a set of 2nd hand 16v 280mm brakes I have decided to stick with the stuff I have got and get some decent discs, pads and hoses. Goodridge do not list a set for the 8v but i'm wondering if one of the sets...

as above. wanting to get some as the brake fade on the car is pants, and teamed with some decent fluid should make a big difference. goodridge dont appear to do any but hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation ed

Hi Guys, did a search an did find results but no real answers. Goodridge dont do a kit and either do HEL for a mk3 cupra Does anyone know if for instance another kit would fit, ie golf gti 150 ??????????? thanks

hello folks, i'm selling my r32 alloys to fund new EBC discs and ferodo pads plus motul brake fluid. i was thinking about getting goodridge braided hoses, what are peoples opinions on braided hoses, for an extra 50 quid are they worth it and has anybody got them and what difference does it make. :)

Is there an off the shelf kit for mk3 Cupra? Assuming the mk2 gti kit would be similar? Cannot find anywhere that sells a specific kit? Anyone want to point me in the right direction? :confused:

For my 95 2L 8v GTi (6 line)... been seeing these for around £70 goodrich steel braided. but i have found some on offer, these are for VW GOLF MK3 8v/16v Gti models ( 6 line )for £49 are they the same? The only kit i can find for ibiza is 2L 16v 1993 - 1996...

has anyone on here added braided hoses to their standard brake setup?? my brakes are fairly good but not as good as my last car, and I've been told by a mate (owns his own garage) that braided hoses would give me much better feel on my brakes.....? we've had a look at the front brake hoses...
