as long as its flexible and correct size it will be fine. I'm using regular vac hose atm. There is even people using gardening hose.

would it matter at all that the bore of the hose itself is only 10mm?

So even under maximum engine workload the blow-by gases should be able to escape the crankcase with no restriction even through a 10mm bore? has anyone ever felt the end of the catch tank inlet pipe to see just how hard the blow by gases blow?

I haven't, but it can;t be that much.

reasoning: I do not have the steelwool in the bottom of tank to absorb condensation/residue, and yet its not being blown out of the breathing side. So i'd imagine its quite minimal tbh
