My 03 plate LC has started to crunch when changing into 3rd. If I change into 3rd quick when the revs are still high it crunches, If i change into 3rd slowly then it doesn't. The clutch has always had a low biting point and this hasn't changed and there is no problem in any other gear just 2nd...

my gears have become harder to shift, less smooth i think. and the gears to the left of the gear box especially hard and are catching on something and is sometimes hard to get in place. 1st and 2nd are quite bad and reverse even worse (furthest left). what does this mean? is something bad...

What sort of speeds can you pull in each gear with the 02M 6 speed box in the LCR?

Im having alittle trouble getting into 1st 2nd and reverse, when i say trouble i dont actully mean trouble selecting the gears its when i come from the neatrul position across down into 2nd or up into 1st, sometimes it just wont go across if i bring it back to the N position and then try again...

Not really a problem , Just wondering what the faint whistling was when im changing up the gears. its only audible when the windows are down. Sounds really nice! Like a tame dump valve i guess. I own a 2002 tdi mk4
