can anyone help i drive a 1.8 20vt cupra, the car is fine in a straight line and round a right hand bend but when going round a left hand bend the car misfires and then only boosts to 5psi. then you lay off the accelorater and it fine. it seems strange how its only round a left corner.
Looking to get a set front and rear, I think the rears should fit ok, can anyone confirm this?
Would the fronts fit round the skirts? Cant see it but again can anyone confirm this.
Would I be safer just going for rubber ones all round
Hi Guys,
I should be getting my cupra in the next month or so, and was wondering basically what the cupras are like with milage over 65k?
I've not seen many under that sort of milage, are they reliable still at 70k odd? Dont turbo's usually go around this point?
Thanks,
Andy
As the title suggests i've finally got round to removing my atmos dump valve and replaced it with a Bailey DV30.
The difference is definately noticeable anyway, throttle response seems to have picked up!

Just had an expensive day. Got the timing belt and tensioner done, got tracking done, brake fluid change and had Lucas discs and Pagid pads fitted all round.
However, I've only done about 5 miles going home but I can't really notice the difference from my old standard set up (maybe even a bit...
What's SEAT's chances of wrapping this one up aswell???
10 points behind BMW with 2 races at Macau
If they do, i'll have some small(ish) window grafix made up for the car to the effect of
"SEAT SPORT TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPIONS 2006" :funk:

Noticed this happening for a while now as its been very wet recently.
When ever i open the front drivers or passenger door i tend to get a little fall of water thats been held by the door sill.
Also noticed a little bit of water in the rear passenger side footwell?? not sure where this is...
BTCC Knockhill Round 22:
Jason Plato and Darren Turner started Round 22 of the BTCC in 1st and 2nd positions, led all the way and finished the race in that position. It was Jason's sixth win of the season and Darren's best BTCC result.
Ten laps were held behind the Safety Car, with the 24 lap...

I was daydreaming at work the other day (sat in one of those meetings where you end up switching off and gawping out the window).
I started thinking about suspension mods that I wanted to do to the car, and couldn't help but feel that other than the front wheel drive issue, one of the other...
I know that this kind of quetsion has been posed before, but i never feel as though i really got the answer i was after.
My question really is to do with the way the piston in the dump valve sits.
