Hi getting the odd problem with the ibiza and thought id invest in a VAG.. I've had a look but cant seem to find any info on what cable i need (pins) and software version for a: Seat Ibiza TDI 1900 salsa R-reg 1998 would be gratefull! :)

I had an Ignition Coil go on me the other day, and now im worried that if another one goes, how can I tell which one it is... therefore my question is, is there software out there that I can load onto my laptop to diagnose the problems, and if so, how much does it cost & where can I obtain it...

All ye using cheapo aftermarket leads from ebay. Has anyone had 100% success using the 409 software or have you had to resort to 311 version? If you are using the later version, which lead are you using? From a search in this forum, cables from alpha don't work too well with 409...

Hi Guys, Just got myself a VAG SKC Reading lead..... (www.vagproducts.co.uk) and its USB.... Vag Tacho software just has READ PIN greyed out when i use it and doesn't let me get the SKC out of it... Theres another piece of software but requires the serial connection... Anyone know of...

Evenign all Just wondering whether anyone has used the Custom Code software to advacne the ignition timings on their motor via their laptop? I'm thinking of doing this but first need to log the CFs on the 4 cylinders. Anyone tried this - and how did it go? Cheers Raf

Anyone had any problems with Any performance software on their Ibiza FR 150hp 2004-2005 ??... two friends have similar problems... one has APR and the other has UNITRONIC... both cars go into soft limp, but UNITRONIC cust rpms to 6,000 APR only cuts BOOST (like if there was a leak on the DV)...
