Right well im a bit nackerd with the alternator lark and have swapped to a new alternator. Can anyone tell me how test the alternator at the alternator using a multimeter. I need to identify if its a cable or if its the new alternator. The new alternator if anything is worse, so Im thinking...

My 06 Leon has decided one afternoon to test its alarm despite being locked and unmolested. The alarm cancels good enough but then it either doesn't centrally lock or unlock depending on its mood! Any ideas people before I resort to giving it a good hiding! :confused:
