traction

can anyone tell me without me RTFM'ing if i can turn ESP on, on my tdi 1.9 100bhp se? it's worrying easy to wheelspin it in 1st gear as i hit 2,000, in the wet....but im on almost legal depth champiro as-bought tyres.

Anybody know where this is found on the cupra? cheers

Am I right in thinking you cant TOTALLY turn the traction control off. I know the button in the centre console is supposed to, but I have found that the car still tries to control the wheels more than a regular off switch............in my old Vectra, off meant off as is loads of wheelspin etc !!!!

Hi All I recently bought a Cordoba tdi 130 which allegedly has traction control. Ive noticed that when pulling away quickly at junctions itll spin the wheels pretty easily. The warning light isnt on and the tyres are good. Does this sound right? :confused:

like the title says my traction control light has come on and will not go off, ive had the car plugged in and there are no faults recorded, but after plugging it in the light went out, then after ticking over for 10 seconds it was back on. all help much appreciated.
