007p Reverse or Normal Fitment

Well if you had a remapped car with the DV in reverse, and you were getting lower than expected power and torque and constant recirc noise then I'd be fairly certain you'd need a stronger spring to keep running in reverse. I'm guessing this is why Forge say to run it "normally", i.e. with the boost hose into the side of the valve rather than the bottom, as it is in reverse.

Reversed mine today and removed the bonnet soundproofing, will be reverting back to the "nipple up way" tomorrow

I have got a Forge 007p fitted to my LCR but can someone please tell me why people fit them in reverse?
