Over the next couple of weeks I must fix my (now) daughter's much loved Ibiza Ecomotive.
The headlight warning buzzer will not sound and the interior light does not go on/off as expected.
As I understand it this is most likely a failing microswitch on the driver's door locking mechanism.
My questions are...
1. Is it worth the hours of effort to change just the switch or replace the whole unit?
2. Where can I buy the switch or mechanism and, if the mechanism, do I really need to buy one from the dealer or is there a good aftermarket one?
