Hello,

Excuse me if this is in the wrong place!

I have recently aquired a 2011 Ibiza ST with the 1.2 TDI engine, showing fault code P245300 which Seat have quoted £318 to fit a new DPF dif pressure sensor.

I've seen lots of threads about the 'pre-DPF' G450 sensor having searched the 'net, but unless I've misunderstood the correct (and only) sensor for my car is the G505 as a 'post-DPF' sensor

I've had a good look and as far as I can see this sensor is located behind the air intake pipe on the bulkhead.

My question is, am I correct, and can I go ahead and order the new sensor part no. 059 906 051 C, or am I missing another pre-DPF sensor somewhere else in the engine bay and this is what needs replacing? And will the G505 still need adaptation via VCDS?

Thanks in advance

Liam

Google search the part number mate. That'll show you what you're looking for. The two pipes sticking out the bottom go into hoses and down to the dpf.

As for the coding, it does need adapted then you'll still need to put the light out on the dash I think too.

It's near your cooling reservoir. With the 2 pipes. When you have replaced it you need to learn it in the engine ecu. For a new offset value.
