1.2 Timing Chain

Well Im getting the chain changed in the next month or so, getting the kit put on that seat make for it. Just wondering if other than a standerd service there is anything else that I should get done?

i duno mate, but i would change that chain, if it goes its a whole lot o money, mine went a month afta havin car cost me ove 1k, was not happy bearin in mind id paid 4k for the car a month before, but its got al the relevent things on now to hopefuly stop it happening again

didn't think the chain needed replacing, I just thought the tensioner failed and made the chain jump the sprockets
I thought timing chains normally last the life of the engine
oh well better safe than sorry

the chain does, but the sprockets on mine shatterd or something and split the chain
