Since I had my Leon serviced last Friday it has felt a little more punchier in the mid-range and smoother acceleration so im wondering if the dealer might have updated the ECU or is it just me?

Yes, mine has been done, though the dealer didn't know what effect it would have. Mine actually had to go back to the dealer to have it done, because my service was done on a Saturday and software updates aren't available on Saturdays apparently. Something to do with Seat updating their systems on a Saturday.
