1.4tsi 150 exhaust

Has anyone on here got a 1.4tsi that has modified the exhaust in any way?

I'm wanting a bit more noise but I don't want to commit £500 on something that doesn't sound very good. I've tried Youtube but the videos are rubbish. The only one i found had stupid music playing as well.

If anyone would be so kind to share a video of there 1.4tsi with exhaust mods, that would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't done anything but I want to remove the middle silencer that sits in front of the rear axle. My main reason is that the pipe work looks really restrictive as it goes around the houses (have a look you'll see what I mean). It should also make it a little louder.

Yeah removing the centre silencer does seem to be the "in" thing to these days, is a cheap and effective way of getting a bit of a nicer noise out of your exhaust and can be easily reversed as well. A lot of newer turbo charged with fruity exhaust notes from the factory lack a middle silencer (my Abarth 500 being one of them).
