Due to the complete incompetence of my Seat dealer they lost the service book for my car, after 4 months of ringing them they have finally provided a replacement which is nicely stamped with the recorded mileage etc.

The car is a 53 plate 130TDi Sport which I bought in January 08 with 44k on clock

I am currently querying the work they have (or should have done) :censored:

What I need to know is what work is carried out and what items should be replaced at

10k

20k

30k

40k

Appreciate your help

Thanks :)

Bear in mind some servicing work is time-related as well as mileage-related, for example brake fluid changes, so it's not always as straightforward as you expect...

I need this info too as I have a replacement service book which they charged me £7.50 for and it has no useful info in it! There doesn't seem to be anything on a website which says what I need for a 5 year service (its only 40,000 miles)

I don't want to have to use Stealers for anything any more because my last few experiences have been so bad.

The reply I have had (in writing)when I queried the service history from the main Seat dealer was this

29/10/04 10k mileage 10,000 Items changed on this service, oil filter and oil.

05/09/05 20k mileage 19,425 items changed on this service, oil filter, oil and pollen filter. Additional to this service the brake fluid was changed.

20/09/06 30k mileage 32,248 items change on this service, oil filter and oil.

16/02/07 Diamond (at 35,447mls) items changed oil filter and oil

25/01/08 Diamond (at 44,974 mls) items changed oil filter and oil. Mot also carried out.
