I got 17s on my car and it has NOT slowed my acceleration at all infact id say its faster, top end aswell. however i do have lightweight alloys and they way not even 3 quaters the amount of my old standard SEAT alloys. They are also wraped in toyo proxys. So i would say go with 17s but if u go get decent ones the handeling is better and more responsive. and in my opinion unless its lowered like s*** it looks dumb.
