16" or 17"?

Hi

I have a red ibiza 1.4 sport and was wondering which would look better 16" or 17" wheels? 17s would mean the car would sit higher

I was thinking possily the 16 Inch Dotz Mugello Black or the 17 Inch Kato Racing Sukumo INOX Lip Matt Gunmetal Alloy Wheels. or the 16 Inch Cades Eros Black.

What do you recon?

Use 17s with a lower profile tyre. Are a result your car will not sit any higher. I think 17 would just give a nicer edge over the 16s.

17's without a doubt. 205/40/17 tyres are the tyre you'll want usually, depending on the alloy width.

Use an online tyre size calculator to measure which size of tyre you'll need in order to maintain your current rolling radius. If you don't, your speedo might be put out of sync.

Would If I could but I can't. As we go camping with the car loaded up to the knackers with also a roof box on top.. If I did lower it the car would be dragging it's arse..

You would be surprised at how much room is in those rear arches! With three people in the back and a boot full of luggage mine doesnt scrub a bit and Im 45mm lower on 18s.

So stop being a girl and lower it!
