Hi chaps.

I'm stuck trying to fit new pads all round on a 2.0l 16v?
It was fairly easy and straight forward on my old 1400's, but the 16v ones look to be a pain.

Would someone be kind enough (someone whos done it before) to quickly jot down the procedure?

I think its something along the lines of loosening the allen key bolts on the back of each caliper or something.

Sorry, i dont mean to sound like a "bird"

Thanks all
Cheers

pretty much that

(from memory)

loosen the top one to swing out the caliper, but may need to remove it to push the piston back in (remember to loosen the fluid reservoir cap)

or remove the two caliper bolts to take it off

if i'm binning the pads i get a screw driver and prize(sp) back the pad on the piston.this will retract the piston and make it easier to get the pads out and enough room to get the new ones in,a wind back tool is a good investment, but a little tricky to wind back in situ.unless you can wind it back in one hand whilst holding the caliper with the other .it really is quite easy on the valver
