Depends what offset the 8s are

I've got 17 x 8 et 35, 205/40/17 tyres which give a slight streched look, no rubbing at all on std suspension. i think you'd get away with 215/40s tho

the rs4's are prob a lower offset

5 x100 Et is what ever it says on an rs4 wheel. was in the low 30's.

Will check monday if needed to know

Nah thats lowered 40mm at the front and around 65mm at the back.

No offence intended Sisson, but it feels like the RS4s have been done to death now, especially on Leons, obviously you got yours a while back but to get some now would be pretty unoriginal, IMO ofcourse

Shame you've got no pics of it on coilies & the cupra rims, thatd look trick :)

if you wanna keep the acceleration and the "go kart" handling keep the wee wheels on her, if your more interested in looks throw the big wheels on....simple as..

ok finally a few car pics excuse the muckyness - driving on b roads in winter aint healthy
still got a few bits and bobs to do like mesh on the rear and debadged front grill etc but all in good time...

let me know what you think so far....

FK coilovers...

Maybe cuz you've got 18's and side skirts to make it lower....

Look at the above before and after pics.... i measured the floor to arch gap as well..

it drives like a go kart... can throw it into corners at silly speeds and it loves it. with the 18's on ive noticed a helluva lot more grip but did lose A LOT of top end using them... went back to my 14's for a couple of days and the increase in acceleration and top speed was immense so if your lookin to keep the nipyness then stay with smaller wheels - if not just go to 18's although if its lowered i would recommend taking the inner arches out...

take inner arches out that would not be a good idea as they are there to stop pannels and chassis not getting to wet and rusting/corroding where not painted!

smaller wheels give better accleration and handling but bigger wheels give a higher top end due to the larger circumference...

What engine is in yours BeEzA???

@ rashcupra - underseal mate :)

its a 1.2 :p first car so couldnt go too large an engine :(
my dad has a leon cupra r with a few mods :) so if i want to go fast i just have a word with my dad :p

the 18s leave the car very hard and i dont think it does them any good, im actually concidering going back to the standard 16 sport rims again, i dont think the 18s give the car go kart handling at all, it leaves the car very heavy and it just doesnt feel as agile, beeza your wee car looks well but i would never put 18s on a 1.2, its bound to leave the car so sluggish and slow, and be putting your engine under extra stress, stick the wee wheels on her and she'll be twice the machine.
