so your 242bhp figure came from getting a custom map with the main modification being a less restrictive downpipe and de/cat or less restrictive 1. the rest of your upgrades probably making a total difference of 10bhp for example as i dont see many 1.8t leon 180 versions getting over 235bhp on a stage 2 so it must be down to your custom map. so your now running at 320bhpmay i ask what upgrades your running to get that figure? did you upgrade the rods? i only ask so many questions about you ride as it gives me lots of hope for the potential of these lovely engines.
I went with a sports cat rather than decat.. just helps come mot time.
The 320 comes from an IHI turbo conversion which includes 440 injectors, oil and coolant pipes, manifold, S3 fuel pump and various nuts and bolts. Proalloy FMIC (its huge) 3" downpipe.
Rods are standard due to using a bigger turbo that made 320 without dangerously high cylinder temps, hybrid turbos have to be pushed harder to make the figures thus higher temps.... but its still worth doing rods which ever way you go.
Most important part is the map so its usable power. Hence why its worth getting solid advice from whom evers mapping it.
I'll try and find my 242 print out later
