Just mulling it over at the moment.
Looking at hard pipes (un baffled). Are there any improvements to flow?
Also the Forge one has a reduced crease over the rocker cover. To be honest i didnt know the standard one had a crease!
Is there one that has a better flow than another?

All i've noticed is perhaps a little more noise and maybe a little more heat in the pipe itself but until I get a remap I wont know if its snake oil syndrome or a real benefit.

What pipe did you get?
Maybe the standard pipe works best.
Baffle drawing heat?

I was looking at them on Ebay.
I need one with the dv outlet. But the price was crazy so ive messaged them.
The price is the same on their website.
Surely not?!?!?

I have the Creation Motorsport one as I couldn't get a Trackslag pipe at the time but It's just engine bay bling tbh, they don't really do a lot.

Shiney bits are worth 27.7 Bhp any day :).....

Trackslag/Creation and MLP Developments pipes all look the same and sell for between £110 to £155 from what I can tell.

Just looked at the trackslag ones. Only come in raw.
They look nice but if i buy something, i dont want to have to paint it myself.

I was after a satin finish one but they seem to have stopped making them ages ago.

So you think they make little/ no different to standard other than bling factor?

Right, a little update.
Ive decided im not a big fan of the longer pipe that curves down at the turbo. As for now ill keep what ive got (subject to change).
Ive ordered 2 new silicone hoses though. In red. The one on the n/s that comes from the cooler to the inlet manifold and the one for the o/s that comes from the hot pipe and goes to the cooler.
A previous owner had replaced most of the pipework in red and ive replaced the tip with a badger5 item also in red.
Id prefer black but im committed now.

Im now looking at the elbow hose that attaches to the turbo. Colour not really an issue as its out of sight.

Only problem i see is the forge one looks really good but criminally expensive. I cant justify it.

The cheaper ones look like they maybe restrictive.
Anyone bought one that they're happy with?

Cheers Rich

The bend on the cheap ones is too sharp and they are probably not going to withstand the heat or be fluro lined. With boosted air you need smooth flowing bends to maintain the same radius and not cause a pinch point or disrupt the airflow - no this isnt me being smart I read it somewhere :) .

I agree.
The subject of bends came up a lot whilst i was looking into intercoolers.

But the oe item isn't great. It needs to be a 90° bend to fit in the space given to it.
