I wouldn't touch Toyo T1Rs, they are the worst tyre I have ever had on my cupra r. No grip at all on a wet road. Your better off with Goodyear Eagle F1, Bridgestone Potenza or Vredestein tyres. I am currently running Yoko AD08r up front and Nankang AR-1 soft on the rear. The level of grip in the dry and on a wet road with no puddles is insane. Try mytyres.co.uk or https://www.camskill.co.uk/m55b0s24...yres_-_19_inch_R19_inch_-_235_35_19_235_35R19

True the grip levels on the others is better but pricy too.
Ran Verdesteins couple of years back. Fantastic but a small fortune.
Yoko ad vans is an option that's not too much more than the Toyos so may look at them.
Thanks bud.

So looking at getting the Yokohama Advan Fleva.
Has an EU wet grip rating of A. Should be perfect.
Not too expensive as sticking with my 18's for now I think.
Cheers for the link.

Thanks for the link buddy.
I ended up buying from them.
After your comments on the TR1s
I decided on a set of Yokohama Fleva V701
Not in England for another 3 months but camskill had them sent from mainland Europe.

Re my wheel choice I have had a good friend referbed my wheels and spray them satin black. I really like the 5 stars but needed Black so I saved a heap of money.
Plus this guy is damn good.
Been at it years. Came second in world skills tournament as an apprentice and he's improved with age.
