1998 Ibiza 1.0mpi rear speakers

Hi all, I have a 98 1.0 3dr ibiza and was wondering what the size of the standard rear speakers are? and where is a good place to by upgraded replacements from?

Hello,

The originals, which sit either side of the parcel shelf are 6x4's. You can get hold of these from car audio outlets, Halfords etc. JBL and Alpine are a good bet.

i got a great set of fusion 6x4s on ebay for £26 , have a look there for some

I also have the fusions, very clear, but make sure you have a decent set of door speakers to give a decent level of base as these alone wont

how did you wire them in cupra_kid ? i went for the mid/high method as I have a sub , but do agree they are good and clear .

I also went for the mid-high method, not too much difference until the volumes up then they distort a little using the full range. Was in the process of sorting some front door speakers but now looking into getting a Corrado.
