get some photos of the bike carb setup on here, definately do-able, theres a few mk3 gti 8v's on youtube with bike carbs, also you can get webers on so why not bike carbs... either way it wont be 200bhp but bet it sounds good

i reached the absolute limit with limp mode so 5th gear at 5050rpm was 118mph. had 121 other week as it went to 5200 for some reason.

obviously i wasnt on a public road...









was on an active runway instead

i still cant manage a top speed run due to the clutch sometimes deciding it doesnt want to play anymore then other times its fine, i think it may be the cable/stupid adjuster thing because if i try push the clutch arm on the box down over it is sometimes solid........

121 was with my clutch slipping still trying to figure out whats going on with it. getting used clutch and flywheel for a fiver so ill know soon enough.

i done 107 in my 1.4 8v, but my girl friend said she seen 112 at one point which im rather chuffed about

My 16v seems to struggle to see over 110?!?!?!?!?!
Feels like its a bit strangled almost. Any thoughts?

i had this and it was bugging me, i thought i had a cracked manifold but its not (got a 4 branch soon anyway)
my timing was 2 teeth out (muppet garage)
my lambda sensor had gone
all is good now tho

Yes but yours will get to its top end about twice as fast as mine for a guess :0

I was on an RAF airfield, which i could of got in trouble for. However they can't have my license there
