Well, one of the white ones i was looking at (with 2k miles) has been sold. The orange and grey one are coming out too expensive each month (about £305 a month) and both have reduced down for me and given me a generous part ex figure but won't discount any further.

That leaves me with the white one i saw originally, which is the cheapest of the lot, but has those small stone chips on the front. He will not budge in price at all apart from the £100 off he offered me at the start. I am guessing the other guy who went to see it and went back to we buy any car for a better price has lost interest at this point.

What about a lease deal on a brand spanker?

for example i got a brand spanker fr 1.5 tsi for £240 a month with no downpayment and 10k mileage a year. That was in 2018 so i’d imagine a 2.0 tsi fr won’t be much more as they are trying to get rid of them

Just had a look there you can get a brand spanking cupra on a lease for £303 down, £303 a month 3 years 10k miles a year.

MPG difference between 2.0tsi cupra and 2.0 tsi 190 will be negligible when cruising at NSL. Its the same engine just different turbo etc, obviously when you open up the taps the cupra will drink it more. So sitting at 2.5k rpm in the 190 or cupra will achieve similar fuel economy

i got mine direct from seat they can do lease deals via volkswagen finance. Worth going in and seeing what they can do

Currently owning Golf 2015 1.4 TSI 125km R-Line. Super happy with car, just want more power.

Was previously searching for Golf GTI, Cupra (too much power haha) and Audi A3, but from Audi it has lead me to Seat Leon 190ps.

Found one, blue color, 6 months old with digital cockpit, beats, DCC, ACC, 25.000km (im not from UK). It has everythink I would want in a car. Its priced at 20.000 € (~17500 pounds) or 19k pounds with import to my country. Should it go for it?

@Eskilation: What wheels you have on yours? I would want black too, currently stock 18" on Leon.

Mine is FR not Fr Sport so came with boring 17”. Dealer had a set of these in showroom when I was negotiating I liked he fitted, deal done. They are in accessory catalog or were.

I am now turning mine to only 2.0 TSI FR Black as they never had the 2.0 190 engine.

Got my Cupra on £330 PCM PCP 15k miles a year over 4 years. i intend to keep it at the end of 4 years too.

Did 43 mpg on my way in to work this morning and averaged 40 over 500 miles at the weekend on a brand new car thats not had time to settle in. thats not bad.

Go for it! The car performs better than well in everyday driving and it's well built as it's a later model MK3. You're fortunate to be able to get the upgraded sound system and ACC spec'd. I would've liked those on my FR Sport, along with the Driving Assistance pack, but apparently, in the UK at the time when this model was being manufactured, they were only offered by SEAT UK on their EZ scheme, so you could only select trim level and paint, with no optional extras, so I couldn't find any of this engine size with the additional extras spec'd in the UK.

My question is, without the DCC, am I going to hate the ride. At the moment I find it firm (not too firm) but that's never really bothered me. Some say tyres make a difference? Thanks in advance.

I love them too a little individual although can be a bugger to clean properly. But don’t show the brake dust.

Sorry not a lot of help but only driven mine on the test drive with the 17’s had the 18’s on since then, There was some diff I expect but also never driven a DCC car myself but I don’t mind or notice as most of my cars have had a hard ride.

There is a few threads on here ref tyres someone recommended Goodyear async 5 or something and avoid continental, I am just getting to then legal limit so either getting 4 new tyres or was considering running the 17’s over winter give the 18’s a break. If I change them in next week will update or if I change tyres will also update as currently on Hankook V12 and they been good. Just not sure I can go back to 17’s

The E888 gen 3 engines are Timing chain driven NOT belt driven.

2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3
The 2.0TSI EA888/3 or Gen3 was designed to be lighter and more efficient. First of all, the engine got a new cast iron cylinder block with thinner walls by 0.5 mm (3 mm instead of 3.5). There are new steel crankshaft, pistons and rings, oil pump and light-weight balancing shafts. The new engine design incorporates an entirely redeveloped cylinder head. It is a 16-valve aluminum DOHC cylinder head with an integrated and water-cooled exhaust manifold. Like before, the camshafts are driven by the timing chain and AVS system is applied for the intake valves only. But the variable valve timing system is available for both camshafts.

My 2019 2.0tsi is belt driven.
