2.5 degrees Oil Light & A Nice Beep

Hey every body,

Right for the past 2 weeks ive had my new motor and today after a hard days work! It's nice and cold out only 2.5 degs and i go to start the car! Beep along with a nice red light on the engine oil temp gauge.

Drive down the road turned the car off and started again, the light went off!

Now as i have completly not read the manual for the car can somone clarify what the hells going on, i thought i had enought oil but should it be up to the first orange marker or jsut the first 2cm of the stick?

Could there be any other reason its doing this apart from the odd leak from the cam tensioner gasker/halfmoon

Why not read the manual and find out exactly what that light means in the COOLANT GAUGE AREA you might be surprised what it is for.

lol........it's been a long day!

Guessing the coolant was abit cold, checked it earlier and i think i need some anti freeze adding it looks to much like water to me.

If it still beeps, scrape the prongs in the expansion tank

oooo......the nice prongs they looked quiet shiny to be fair but i will see about giving them a rub tomorrow.
